Criteria for Admission

Westminster Christian Academy honors Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education, rooted in biblical truth as interpreted by the Westminster Confession of Faith, for the children of Christian parents. Faculty and staff enable students to discover and embrace a biblical view of the world and to integrate that view into every area of life.

The Westminster Christian Academy Admissions Committee attempts to enroll well-rounded students who seek the strong academic and character foundation necessary for a life of service and achievement. Students are expected to maintain high standards of integrity and personal morality. The school has established standards of student decorum, dress, attendance and attitude as set forth in the Student/Parent Handbook. Westminster welcomes students representing various racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds who will bring diversity to the school community from every walk of life.

An essential component for admission is the requirement that one or both parents are professing Christians as evidenced by confession of faith in Christ as Lord and Savior. A family interview will be conducted by a member of the Westminster Christian School Board of Directors to verify a Christian testimony from both parents and ascertain agreement with the school’s statement of faith. The interview is scheduled after the written portion of the application is received.
